This hybrid course teaches the essential foundations of caring for and styling coily, kinky, and curly Black hair. Learners study the theory online, then attend practical in-person studio sessions during the week to build confidence with real techniques. The program covers hair and scalp assessment, cleansing, conditioning, detangling, drying, product selection, curl definition, protective styling, and polished runway-ready finishing. With a focus on hair health, integrity, moisture, and shine, learners will be able to create clean, intentional textured-hair looks from wash day through final styling.
